Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze differences in health literacy and digital health literacy.

Methods: An on-line survey was conducted for Korean population aged 20 to 69 in 2021. A 16 item health literacy measurement and 12 item digital health literacy measurement included in the survey. A total of 939 persons who used on-line health information during the previous one year were included for analysis.

Results: Health literacy scores were statistically significantly related to gender, age, chronic illness, subjective health, smoking status, healthy eating, walking 30 minutes five days a week, sleeping quality, and confidence in health lifestyle practice. Digital health literacy scores were statistically significantly related to age, household income, chronic illness, subjective health, healthy eating, sleeping quality, and confidence in health lifestyle practice. In the multiple regression model on demographic and behavioral factors, we found higher R square, .255, in digital health literacy than in health literacy.

Conclusion: We can conclude that good health status is closely related to health literacy and digital health literacy with implications on health education and health promotion efforts needed.
